You probably know that I love coaching people to be better at what they do, and I spend a fair amount of time helping people 121 via Zoom, or in group workshops.
Well, I’m proud to say that I’ve taken on a new role as a volunteer business mentor supporting companies registered as part of the Help to Grow scheme offered by Enterprise Nation. This is in addition to my role as a Business Captain with X-Forces, which provides support to ex-military personnel on their business journeys.
So I’m now a registered member of the Association of Business Mentors.
I’ll be specialising in marketing support, of course – in particular social media related. As always, LinkedIn coaching features highly, both in terms of helping people to improve their profiles and widen their visibility, as well as exploring ways to generate leads.
It’s all about being part of an engaged online community and – the phrase I absolutely can’t stand: “building your personal brand.” (This simply means making sure your personal profile is better than the rest and that you’re using your social media to its best advantage.)
If you need my help and you qualify for either of the free schemes I’ve mentioned, you can register through the relevant websites. Drop me a line if you’re not sure and I can point you in the right direction.
